Aim: The alteration of the planetary climate, mainly because human activity, could trigger ecological, economic, and social impacts capable disrupting forms life on planet. In this context, influence psychosocial factors environmental awareness way in which these can for support pro-environmental behaviors is researched example students from a Chilean university.
 Design / Research methods: Transactional exploratory mixed research. Bibliographic review application survey to community university (n=134). process consisted two stages: (1) literature (2) application.
 Conclusions Findings: reviewed authors agree that people exhibit when they are sufficiently informed about problems, have favorable attitude towards them generate effective qualitative changes do not cause significant difficulties later on. results applied sample show respondents perceive damage global warming greater proportion compared bibliographic data reviewed. exploratory; however, provide focus future research context.
 Originality Value article: This article offers an updated perspective perceptions relation climate change behaviors, based case study. Additionally, it proposal intervention educational plans.
